Eligibility

Candidates should fulfill certain eligibility conditions as laid down by SBI before applying for the PO post.

Nationality: Candidate has to be an Indian National.

Educational Qualification

1. The applicants must be a graduate in any flow from a recognized college.
2. The final year graduates can also apply.

Age Limit

1. Candidates must be between 21 to 30 years as on April 1, 2020.
2. SC/ST/ECS/J&K Migrantsget a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limitation.
3. OBC applicants with top age limit 33 years can apply for the exam.
4. PwD category candidates book a comfort of 10- 15 years based on the group.

Number of Attempts

1. For General category- 4 attempts.
2. For General (PwD) category- 7 attempts.
3. OBC category- 7 efforts.
4. OBC (PwD)- 7 attempts.
5. SC/ST (PwD)- No limitation.

Other Requirements

1. Defaulters in repayment of Loans/Credit Card dues or those with adverse CIBIL reports or other outside agencies won’t be considered qualified for appointments.
2. Candidates against whom there is an adverse report concerning personality & antecedents, moral turpitude is not qualified to apply for the article.

Step 1- Registration

1. Visit the website- sbi.co.in.
2. click link “Career with us” on the home page.
3. Select the ‘SBI PO 2020 Program Form.
4. Fill the application form with full details such as name, instructional qualifications, address, mobile number, email, and other information.

Step 2- Upload Photo and Signature

1. Upload scanned image of passport size photograph (size-20 to 50 Kb) and touch (10 to 20 Kb) in JPEG format.
2. The photo must be of 200 x 230 pixels while the signature must be of 140 x 60 pixels.
3. Pick the right file and click open to upload.
4. After that, click’Submit’ to move into a charge payment.

Step 3- Application Fee

1. Application fee for General, EWS, and OBC types is INR 750 and INR 125 for allowed categories.
2. Pay the commission through debit/charge card and net banking.

Selection Process

Candidates in SBI PO recruitment are shortlisted upon their performances at the 3 stages mentioned below:

Preliminary Examination

1. It is the very first stage of the SBI PO 2020 Selection Procedure.
2. SBI PO Pre includes 3 segments – English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude.
3. Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks in most of the sections to qualify for another round.

Main Examination

1. The main examination is that the second phase of the SBI PO 2020 recruitment process.
2. It is a 200 marks evaluation, consisting of 4 sections (English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning & Computers, and General/Economy/Banking Awareness).
3. A comprehensive evaluation of 50 marks could be run immediately after the objective evaluation.
4. The adjusted scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) are normalized using the equi-percentile method.
5. Scores up to two decimal points are accepted for the purpose of calculations.

Group Discussion and Interview

1. Candidates that qualify the mains exam are eligible to appear for group discussion and interview.
2. Post conduction of the interview, a combined score is created which comprises the number of marks obtained in the main examination and interview.
3. The last list of the selected candidates is made upon the operation in mains and GD/ PI round only.

Admit Card

1. For SBI PO examination, the admit card is published separately for all three phases viz. Prelims, main exam, and interview.

Result

1. SBI PO 2020 Result is announced on the internet on the official site for each phase of the exam.
2. The result for prelims will be announced on June 29, 2020, while the main exam result will be declared on August 24, 2020.
3. The last result is going to be published on October 19, 2020.

5. The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in most of the sections of SBI PO 2020 will be normalized by the equi-percentile method.
